Inspector Nick Russell - Norfolk Constabulary
Having learnt about the Count Me Out Alcohol Self Exclusion Scheme Nick was instrumental in launching the first ever scheme in Great Yarmouth. He organised a meeting and invited local alcohol licensees and the press. Nick continues to promote the scheme through his local Safer Neighbourhood Team.
Heather works tirelessly to help promote the work of Empowering-Communities and since becoming a Community Chamion she is now a valuable member of the Empowering-Communities Team.
John has asked to remain anonymous but as an addicted gambler he is trying to help others by raising awareness of the Count Me Out Gambling Self Exclusion Scheme. John has written to his local council, his MP and local paper highlighting the benefits of Count Me Out and Empowering-Communities.
Ray Wells - The Isle of Man
Ray has worked with Gary to promote crime reduction initiatives for several years. More recently Ray has been helping raise awareness of the Count Me Out Gambling Self Exclusion Scheme on the Isle of Man.
Rosita Juzenaite - Great Yarmouth
Rosita helps promote our work to the Lithuanian community in Norfolk through her community newsletter and radio show on Radio Norwich.
Mark Milner & Justin Buckle - Tesco Extra, Great Yarmouth
Tesco's Extra in Great Yarmouth were the first supermarket in the UK to introduce both the Count Me Out Alcohol Self Exclusion Scheme & NightSafe-SIRCS. Mark Milner and his team are active supporters of Empowering Communities and are featured regularly in the press promoting the schemes.

The first person in the UK to Self Exclude via Count Me Out Alcohol Self Exclusion Scheme. Andrew has since worked tirelessly promoting the benefits of the scheme and signing up more licenced premises to Count Me Out.
Beach Radio - Norfolk and Suffolk
Beach Radio are active supporters of Empowering Communities, promoting our work at every opportunity. They have kindly put the Empowering-Communities logo and their website enabling us to reach a wider audience.
Vicky Hornsby - Cambridge
Through CAMBAC, Cambridge were the first area in Cambridgeshire to use SIRCS. Since then Vicky and her team have become true Empowering-Communities Champions promoting the scheme wherever they she can. Through Vicky's hard work Huntingdon will soon be launching their SIRCS system.
Steve really bought into the Empowering Communities concept and the Community Champion role. As Town Centre Manager for Bury St Edmunds he has put together an excellent team of community volunteers to administer Bury St Edmunds SIRCS system.
